Having learned animation during the completion of my degree I would say that once I got my hands on an ipad/pencil combo the game was changed for me. Adding motion to my 2D designs has given my work more personality and expanded my thinking in terms of design. In April of last year I was Verified for GIPHY Artist channel and have been uploading my GIFs & Stickers to Instagram and other GIPHY supported networks. In those 8 months I have 18 active GIFS on my profile and have 16.1M views on my work. Currently I have the top “Shaka” result on instagram, as well as some other successes, metrics below.
